Golden Hour around the lake near my home. I love the peaeful beauty. I captured this amazing view a ouple of years ago.
Just before nightfall, a golden light shines through the darkened sky, reminding us that no matter how dark the night may seem, in those few magic moments, we glimpse the promise that the darkness will pass and a new day will dawn filled with hope and possibilities.

As I glanced out my window, I saw this deep purple in the sky above the gold. I had never seen a sky that purple before. I grabbed my camera and ran outside snapping several pictures before it disappeared. Three minutes later, it was gone. I call this 'Flames of Fire. It truly looks like the sky is on fire and is about to burn down the large tree. However, this is actually the color of the sky! Having never seen a sky looking like it was on fire, I couldn't resist capturing it on camera before it disappeared.
