As an avid reader since I was six, the world of fiction, from the classics to modern thrillers allows me to escape into other worlds with characters who become friends or foes along the way. My favorite place to read is snuggled in a warm blanket in front of a fire or outside under a tree or by a lake surrounded by nature.
A lover of music, from classical to jazz, my Spotify’s homemade playlists transport me to different eras, Jazz being my favorite genre.
Often when I’m in need of encouragement I turn to my music compositions which are songs about my relationship with God. Picking up my guitar, I sing the songs which center me and remind me of who God is in me and who I am in Him.
My life has taken me down many avenues, from college instructor to research scientist, from business owner to lay counselor, and now writing novels. Lately a new door has opened into a world of photography, where the camera beckons me to follow trails never ventured.
My desire to let others know Jesus as Messiah is my foremost goal in whatever I do. My new endeavor in writing fiction is one of several ways I hope to bring others to know Christ.
